InterSecTion Issue is a Source for Climate Change and Migration Report

The UNU-EHS publication InterSecTions, issue 5/2007, “Control, Adapt or Flee: How to Face Environmental Migration?”, was used as a source for the Vijverberg Session Climate Change and Migration report meeting which took place in the Hague in January 2009.

The publication series InterSecTions informs the public, policy and decision makers on possible solutions regarding natural and man-made hazards and social vulnerability.

At the Vijverberg Session on Climate Change and Migration a group of different stakeholders discussed the problems and impacts of climate change and forced migration. The Vijverberg Sessions are part of the European Programme of SID (Society for International Development) which aims to strengthen political and public awareness for development issues by networking and conferences.
