Impact Assessment
The project develops tools and indicators for assessing the impact of SLM within the Mountains of Central Asia. Moreover, generic guidelines for replicating and scaling up project experience will be produced. Activities for achieving that outcome are targeted at ensuring the following tangible outputs:
Output 4.1:
A validated conceptual framework for evaluating the impact of sustainable land management on rural livelihoods and economic well being, and restoring the protective and productive functions of the High Pamir and Pamir-AlaiMountain ecosystems.
Output 4.2:
A set of generic guidelines, lessons learnt, and recommendations for up-scaling and replication of the project’s experience in high altitude transboundary regions in Central Asia and elsewhere.
