Goals

  • To raise awareness of land use and management challenges and opportunities in mountain regions in developing countries in Asia

  • To highlight best practices in building knowledge, capacities and policy support for sustainable land management and improved human well-being in mountain environments

  • To contribute to COP discussions on best practices in bridging science, policy and capacity gaps for addressing land degradation in mountains
